Some very well exposed types in this lowly seller, and ALL IN THE RED makes more appeal than most, and is taken ahead of Blue Charm and Singleb. The selection is a course and distance winner for Gay Kellaway on his penultimate run here which was a seller, and he was subsequently bought for 5 and a half thousand Guineas. He's been placed in handicaps too off a mark of 70, and appears to set the standard here, and should benefit from a high draw. Singleb, the joint top weight, is also a course and distance winner. He's changed hands a couple of times after winning sellers here and at Folkestone, and was unlucky not to make a place in a Brighton handicap last time out. Blue Charm makes a return to turf following four unsuccessful runs on the all-weather. He's not won for nearly two years and would need to pull out all the stops to land this, but he should be better than many. It's a minimum stakes race for us; all three on our shortlist are well drawn, but we'll side with All In The Red.
