Nothing makes strong appeal but supporters of BIG TIME MAYBE should get a run for their money. The seven-year-old has been close up on his last three runs returned to Turf and was arguably unfortunate not to finish closer at Bath last month when denied a clear passage before being beaten a couple of lengths. Burtonwood is into the veteran stage nowadays but has landed ten victories in his ten years and should not prove inconvenienced by the drop back to six furlongs. Babe Alicious has a fairly similar profile to the selection this season and the application of both a hood and blinkers is an intriguing move by connections. She rates a danger to all if the headgear generates a positive effect. Twilight Boy is interesting on stable debut and completes the shortlist along with Lady Mander.
