chased leaders on outer, pushed along 2f out, ridden over 1f out, lost place entering final furlong and soon held
tracked leader, pushed along and briefly outpaced under 2f out, no impression until closed entering final furlong, held but ran on well close home
made all, shaken up under 2f out, ridden over 1f out, ran on well and just pushed out closing stages
held up in behind leaders, raced freely, switched right over 2f out, some headway on outer over 1f out, no further impression and weakened gradually inside final furlong
All of these make their handicap debuts. Jungle Fever failed to beat a rival in the Norfolk at Ascot last time having won at Brighton earlier while JUNGLE TIME was set a couple of difficult tasks after scoring at Musselburgh in April. Karl Burke’s filly will find this easier and gets the vote. Match Play will likely improve but needs to if he’s to figure while Howyadoin is harder to recommend fitted with blinkers today.
