Royal Warrior was due to run at Goodwood last night. Desert Ranger got found out at Newmarket after a couple of wins at Wolverhampton but this is a more realistic level. WICKHAMBROOK hasn't run badly in either start this year and might be the one to beat in this, though Jaeger Train is a consistent sort and Iftaar won at Brighton before finishing second in a classified stakes at Haydock in which Royal Warrior was left in the stalls. Charlie Hills' gelding doesn't look particularly well treated but at least arrives in form. Jive is edging closer to a first win on Turf and can't be ignored.
