Uzincso returned to action with a victory over a mile at Kempton while Richard R H B also won on the all-weather at Wolverhampton last time. Motahassen won in soft going at Redcar but finished behind BAD COMPANY when the latter landed an apprentices’ race at Nottingham last week. Jim Boyle’s charge escapes a penalty for that success and should make a bold bid for the hat-trick with the ground to suit. Goodwood Showman has been thereabouts at Bath recently but Persian Beauty has been off the track since disappointing on her handicap debut back in June.
