      Verdict

      Marselan may well improve on his second outing after wind surgery but will need to given he finished six lengths behind the winner when third over 7f here. Wink Of An Eye and Deira Champion have shown little so far and one of the newcomers may be up to landing this with preference for TOP OF THE POPS. The latter can include the Group 1 winner Poet’s Word among several winning relatives and Mark Johnston’s colt makes more appeal than Corbulo and Forever William.
