Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for this novice chase but the TEAMtalk selection is Joss Naylor. The gelding from the Jonjo O'Neill yard won in a canter on his chasing bow at Utoxetter, is sure to have come on for the run and will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Mangnus was an expensive purchase, but the gelding from the Martin Pipe yard travels well in his races but finds very little off the bridle and is readily opposed. Keep Smiling won well on his debut at Bangor but has since failed to complete, if he gets around he will be a danger to all. Krabloonik was sent off favourite last time out but finished one place behind Joe Crump and there is no reason why he should reverse the placings on level terms. Sea Drifting was a fair hurdler who will strip a lot fitter than she was when third behind Jungle Jinks at Sedgefield. It is interesting that Elenas River is ridden by Jim Culloty in preference to Keep Smiling
