An open affair gets proceedings under way but the TEAMtalk selection is Kilmeny. The mare from the Martin Pipe yard won over a mile and two furlongs on the flat is sure to have been well schooled and has Tony McCoy onboard. Compton Chick rates the main danger. The mare was a good second behind Scratch The Dove over course and distance last time out and a reproduction of that form would see her go close. Supreme Attraction is also worthy of consideration she was a good winner of a bumper at Warwick on her last run. But this is her hurdling debut and her stable are going through a quiet spell. Scottish Dance was well beaten behind Fragrant Rose on her debut this season, but that race has produced many winners ands she will strip a lot fitter today. Last Theatre showed a modicum of ability on his hurdling debut on good ground but disappointed when pulled up under similar conditions last time out. Water Sports was placed in a staying handicap on the flat but may be seen to better effect over a longer trip over hurdles.
