Legally Fast gets the nod over Oman Gulf, with He's A Star best of the remainder. This is not one of the better contests on the card, and based on earlier efforts this term, Legally Fast should be capable of getting back to winning ways. Paul Cole's three-year-old was placed to win a maiden handicap at Redcar back in May but has not progressed since over staying distances. This is a big drop in trip, but hopefully the easier opposition will help his cause. Oman Gulf looked one to follow when making a winning introduction for Barry Hills at Newmarket two years ago, but he too has disappointed since, while He's A Star returns to the scene of his latest success in July and now tries an extra two furlongs for the first time. In a race in which bets are best kept on the small side, Legally Fast is the selection.
