Several interesting contenders from top yards on show here and Qusoor is a far from confident selection against the likes of fellow newcomers Farasha and Iridescence, who make plenty of appeal on pedigree. Those with previous experience may be led home by Dream Rose, who made a satisfactory debut at Salisbury but was slightly disappointing at York last time. The step up in trip should help her cause today but she is obviously nothing special and it will not be surprising if at least one of the newcomers is more precocious at this stage. Iridescence hails from a yard that have stared well with their two-year-olds and this daughter of Daylami is one to bear in mind for future reference whatever happens tonight. Farasha is also bred to appreciate slightly further, but, with her yard in such good form, she has to be closely monitored in the betting. However, we take a chance with Qusoor, who looks the preferred runner form the John Dunlop yard. This daughter of Fasilyev is a half-sister to dual seven furlong winner Mutahayya and is expected to be primed and ready to go at the first time of asking.
