Verdict

Newberry New is a massive 19lb lower than when second in this last year but has barely raised a gallop this season, though blinkers could spark a revival. Dr Oakley was runner-up over a longer trip here at the start of the month and Out The Glen won here in January and was second over course and distance last time. The unexposed GET BYE has attracted market support in both runs over fences so far and may now be ready to do himself justice dropped another 4lb.
