Verdict

My Reward finished a place ahead of Soldier In Action on worse terms at Chester last time but both look in the handicapper’s grip. Night Of Glory came up against a very progressive sort when second at Haydock while Sumbal wasn’t disgraced on his belated reappearance at Doncaster but Minotaur is almost certainly being readied for another campaign over hurdles. BLAKENEY POINT had Dance The Dream well behind when winning a shade cosily last time at Newbury. The second won a Group 3 at Ascot on Saturday so the form couldn’t have worked out any better and a 3lb rise looks lenient.
