    Verdict

A step-up in trip and quicker ground were the reasons put forth for the improved showing of SHAZAM a week ago and she's taken to repeat the dose under similar conditions. She does have a 6lb penalty but Billy Loughnane offsets 3lb and the filly looks on the upgrade after that comfortable success. Jimmy Mark also landed his latest start and the booking of Oisin Murphy suggests connections are looking for a repeat performance. He's a danger but the form of the topweight makes greater appeal. Man Made Of Smoke has shown his best on the all-weather but his last two turf runs have been okay and he's respected. Lillistar was modest on her first three starts but was backed into favouritism on handicap bow when unfortunately pulled up. Market support would be interesting with James Doyle booked.
