After a commanding victory here last time BALLYVODEN has our confidence to follow-up ahead of challenges from Donald Will Do and Sir Brastias. The selection loves this trip at this track having recorded two wins from three starts over course and distance including last time out. The manner of the 25 length destruction of a big field that day means the subsequent seven pounds penalty is unlikely to stop him. Donald Will Do is also looking to follow up after last time out success over a slightly shorter trip. He took advantage of good terms in a novice event to get off the mark in good fashion but in this field will have more to do under a penalty. Sir Brastias could be well handicapped here if he can return to form. He's had two runs since returning from a long lay off with the last one showing signs of form and having won off a mark nine pounds higher in the past further improvement should see him close. Sea Cadet has been putting in some decent efforts to grab prize money recently but may need a favour from the assessor before scoring again. Marked Man should be in the mix off a nice mark while Junctiontwentyfour has a big job overturning some form on our selection which is Ballyvoden.
