      Verdict

      Hamilton winner LINE OF DESCENT didn’t quite last home over 1m6f at Musselburgh and has a good chance of making amends in this. Downsman was in good form in the spring and probably found the going too quick at Epsom in the summer. Newbury winner In The Breeze failed to handle the Tapeta at Newcastle but the ground may have turned against Zhang Fei. Forza Orta wasn’t winning out of turn at Hamilton but Hey Teacher will need to improve again to complete the hat-trick.
