PHOUDAMOUR can make a winning start over fences but will have a race on his hands against Mutual Respect and Minella Four Star. The pick for Jonjo O¿Neill was a winning hurdler rated at 125 and also landed a place in an Irish point to point. On that basis there shouldn¿t be too much to question about his ability to leap but the trick will be to transfer his form over timber to the bigger obstacles. Mutual Respect was running with credit in his chase debut until a bad mistake at the wrong time that knocked the stuffing out of him. The experience will have done him good but he was rated 11lbs lower over timber than the selection. Still with a chase under his belt he will have that little advantage. Minella Four Star was a winner and placed in Irish point to points before Alan King took charge who sent him hurdling last time where he ran averagely. Will need to improve over the bigger obstacles to challenge but that's not out of the question. Kilkenny All Star could be a nice each-way play if the price suits based on his hurdling days but Phoudamour has the verdict.
