Verdict

Curious Fox was racing from a 19lb higher mark at this time a year ago and will make a bold bid to defy a penalty for last week's success on fast going at Lingfield. Bounty Pursuit, three times an all-weather winner, is 0-13 on Turf but has run well from this mark at Salisbury the last twice. Dandy Highwayman has slipped to a very fair mark and was attempting to concede 12lb to the winner in a Catterick claimer a week ago. QUEENS ROYALE is a specialist at Southwell but made a promising return to action at Thirsk a fortnight ago and, with her stable in superb form, she's taken to gain her first victory on Turf. Majorette was beaten in a seller here in June before landing a minor handicap on Polytrack at Lingfield while Prominna's four victories have been over the minimum.
