Verdict
WARNING SONG is the form pick to break his maiden tag and land the opener at the expense of Jira and Avongate. The selection ran well enough on his debut to finish fourth behind Russian Rock. He ran very green that day and is sure to come on for the experience and with further improvement to come he should not be too far away come the business end of the race. Jira finished fourth of six in a higher class race at Ascot on his debut. Again it was a fair performance and that run is sure to bring him on so any market moves should be noted. Of the newcomers Avongate warrants the most respect coming from a yard that have a fantastic strike rate with their debutants but the market will be the best guide to his chances. Tom Dascombe has been doing really well with his debutants and Party Doctor would have to be no world beater to figure here so he is another for the short list, but for the winner we return to Warning Song.
