Mt Weather won this a year ago from a 1lb higher mark but only returned to action last month after a very long break. Richelieu has also won here but his recent form has been poor so it's DRINMOY LAD who is handed the vote. He just failed to get up when beaten a short-head over 7f at Sligo but won over 5f on heavy ground at Cork last October and this trip and surface look ideal. Gatamalata has been in fine form, scoring at Dundalk in July, though that was over a mile and this looks on the short side. Bangalore Diamond looks a big threat as he's won three times on Polytrack, all over this trip, and has been in good form this summer.
