        Verdict

        Sacred Kingdom won this in a record time in 2009 and is a dual winner of the Hong Kong Sprint. Ricky Yiu's star sprinter is sure to make a bold effort to regain his crown but all eyes here will be on locally-trained ROCKET MAN. Patrick Shaw's six-year-old went down by a neck to Sacred Kingdom two years ago and was beaten the same distance by Green Birdie in this race 12 months ago. But he's looked better than ever since just failing to hold off JJ The Jet Plane by a short-head in the Hong Kong Sprint in December, winning the Golden Shaheen at Meydan in March when Green Birdie was only fourth. This has always been his long-term target. Better Be The One is tough and looks the pick of the remainder.
