In depth

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien runs three with Foot Soldier, the mount of Ryan Moore, likely to prove best at this stage as he's a half-brother to five winners in France. Tenth Star will probably need further but Reply showed enough on his debut at Cork to suggest he will get involved here. Forgiving Light also ran well on his first start on soft ground at Cork and should have no problems with the quicker going but this can go to FASTIDIOUS as Dermot Weld's colt is the second foal of a winning sprinter from a top-class family. Aquilonius is also speedily-bred and is one to keep an eye on in a race that should produce plenty of future winners.
