Verdict

A moderate maiden in which RICK DALTON can get off the mark at the 14th attempt. His best run this summer came over 1m2f at Fairyhouse when beaten less than a length in a handicap and Colin Keane can steer him home. Lakewood hasn't really looked like winning in a dozen starts and Indigo Five's best runs have been over a mile. Winning bumper Chautuaqua is likely to find this too short with a similar comment applying to Katherine, a winner over timber at Tipperary in July. Penny Jar completed a hat-trick in staying hurdles last year and is another taking a big drop in trip.
