Verdict

The front-running Highland Rahy has just failed to last home in his two most recent starts and today's testing conditions may scupper his chances again. Simpson's Paradox acts on the going but has disappointed in two starts since runner-up on heavy ground at Galway. Helter Skelter, runner-up to Space Age on his debut at Tipperary, never got going behind that winner over this track and trip last month. Time To Soar ran poorly at Punchestown last time but Princess Rabab was staying on at Bellewstown last month. The latter's yard is also represented by ROYAL TOAST, who is out of a mare who has produced winners with all three offspring to race and she's given the nod to make a successful debut.
