DARKESTBEFOREDAWN had shown a little promise in point-to-points before a fine debut under Rules behind the potentially useful Who's Cross at Sligo and, with progress likely, he can take this though there are several threats. Jolly Mac Vic made his racecourse debut over hurdles at Roscommon last week and ran very well, chasing home Easy Reach with the remainder well beaten. He looks sure to go close while Klepht wasn't beaten far on his debut under Rules behind Railway Zira over this C&D and also enters the equation. Oscar Zulu travelled well for most of the race on his debut here in July and will have come on for the experience.
