Verdict

SHALAMAN scored under Leigh Roche over this track and trip last month and has been narrowly beaten twice subsequently under Ana O'Brien. Roche takes the ride again and with his claim a big help is taken to regain the winning thread. Hisaabaat ran very well in the Galway Hurdle last time but could do with plenty of rain but Fairylike prefers very fast ground and is looking a few pounds high. Eighteen Summers is still a maiden after 17 starts but is rarely beaten far and it will be a surprise if he's not concerned in the finish.
