Verdict

St Faz got off the mark on the Flat with a short-head victory at Down Royal and is now rated 75. Malbay Madness ran twice on the level at the Galway Festival, beaten a short-head then landing a handicap four days later. Now rated 86, he should make a bold bid though NURBURGRING is 6lb higher on the Flat. His close fifth in a Navan Listed race in May is the strongest form on view and he can make a successful hurdling debut. Thats Jet was narrowly beaten into fifth on his hurdling bow at Tipperary but then disappointed over today's track and trip when Show No Fear and Kyogo occupied the minor places.
