Having finished second to St Gallen at Galway last month, Try Again makes a quick reappearance under a penalty having scored at Roscommon on Monday night. Tremendous Leap finally got his head in front at the Curragh 10 days ago and should continue heading in the right direction. He’s definitely one for the short-list as is Gowran winner Roibeard. High Altitude is still a maiden but has been threatening to win for a while and could play a part if getting a run from his reserve spot. Previously thought better on Polytrack, KOYBIG has proved a model of consistency over a mile on Turf this year and won over course and distance two runs ago. He didn’t quite get home over 1m2f at Leopardstown last time and will be hard to keep out of the frame. Insignia Of Rank was a disappointing favourite at Naas in June but may have benefited from a short break since and still has time on his side.
