Verdict

The very versatile Effernock Fizz looked to have a bright chance in the 5.30 here yesterday. John Ryan has four entries with last year's winner The Dara Man looking the best of them despite pulling up at Tipperary as he'd been in very good form on his previous two starts. Sole Pretender is smart on his day but has questions to answer after refusing to start at Tipperary. THE DASHER CONWAY was conceding 28lb to the runner-up at Tramore last month but won easily and can score again. Pats Choice was held in second when the leader came down at the last at Wexford but took full advantage for an easy success.
