CLOUDY MISS (NAP) gave notice of an imminent victory when third at Leopardstown and duly obliged at Bellewstown where she had plenty in hand. The runner-up has won subsequently so the form looks strong enough for this. Empress Lyla looks a threat as she was taken off her feet in the early stages at Gowran after her Fairyhouse victory and stepping up in trip will do no harm. Border Prince was narrowly beaten by Richard Strauss at Dundalk but that was only his sixth start and with Pat Smullen taking over the reins he can reverse the form and reach the frame. Lady Rosebud has only won at Dundalk but Always Dancing should be winning soon, especially if ridden with more restraint than when attempting to make all at Gowran.
