The veteran Peregrine Run has now won 20 races and was narrowly beaten when last on the Flat in September in-between two victories over fences. Another veteran, Lord Erskine, gained the ninth victory of his career when beating the smart Teed Up at Tramore last week for which he's been raised 4lb. Chally Chute is no doubt warming up for Galway where he completed a hat-trick on testing ground in October though he's never been this far. MORPH SPEED has been going up in the weights without winning but he would have gone close with a clear run in his last two starts and this could be his day. Sequoiaspirit was unfortunate to come up against a progressive hurdler at Downpatrick after completing a double on the Flat in convincing style.
