Lightening Stricks, whose close second to subsequent winner Fairy Foxglove at Naas last month was a cracking effort, was due to run in the 5.50 at Tipperary last night. He was earlier behind Prince Jock at Cork and the latter's recent second to Korbous on the same track could get a boost from the winner earlier on this card. Serefeli didn't get the best of runs at Galway where the soft ground wouldn't have helped but the staying hurdler Trade Marked may find this on the short side after his recent victory over 1m3f on this track. NANNYS WELL had shown nothing before retuning from a long break at Tipperary earlier this month where she was staying on very strongly over 7f. That was only her seventh race and she wouldn't need much improvement to get into the action here so is handed the vote.
