In depth

Verdict

Shark Hanlon wastes no time in bringing out HARANGUE after his very impressive victory at Sligo on Sunday where he had so much in hand he was eased down on the run-in. He'll be heavily penalised for that so it makes sense to run with a 6lb penalty and a follow-up looks likely. Brian Who has to be a threat as his comfortable victory over Bondage at Bellewstown was given a boost when the runner-up went one better at that same Sligo meeting on Sunday. Our Girl Lucy lost her maiden tag over hurdles with a battling success over a big field at Cork on Friday and a penalty shouldn't prevent another big run while Sughera is fit from the Flat and looked a fair prospect last autumn with an easy victory in a Tramore maiden.
