DAFT DAVE attempted to make all at Roscommon a week ago but just failed to hold the late burst of Juara and was beaten a short-head. That was over 1m4f so today's trip looks ideal and he can lead all the way. Island In The Sun was making her handicap debut when runner-up to Neophilia over 1m1f at Gowran and though running well she's taking a big step-up in trip and is 6lb higher. Sharjah is also up by the same amount after his victory over 1m2f at Fairyhouse but he's even better over this longer trip and has to be a threat. Golden Silence makes his handicap debut from what looks a tough mark and though Dark Crusader has shown promise she's never raced beyond a mile.
