In depth

Verdict

High Altitude has run here six times and won half of them. He's 5lb higher than his last victory but Joey Sheridan is a positive booking. Mr Everest, who ran a fine race in the Cesarewitch when last seen, is a smart stayer and hurdler who is likely to be warming up for Galway where he won last year. Gee Rex landed a Curragh handicap over this trip but disappointed when dropped to 7f at Leopardstown so the vote goes to KOYBIG. Six-times a winner, including over the course and distance, he's been going well without quite getting there and Donagh O'Connor is one of the most experienced riders in the contest. Mary Salome had her first ever run over this trip at Bellewstown and ran well enough to get into the frame here.
