Austin Leahy has a very good record in this and Ecoeye has had the race as his target since scoring at Listowel though that was on very heavy ground. Tony Martin has two entries and the former France-trained winner Daydor may do better than the inexperienced Cornelius. Nancy Astor had some decent form on Polytrack for John Gosden and has her first start for new connections while the very consistent Beechmount Whisper looks likely to reach a place again as he was only caught close home over slightly further at Gowran. EASY BOY (NAP) signalled that a victory was imminent when a close third at Ballinrobe then produced a very impressive victory at Ballinrobe.
