Verdict

KLEPHT looked set for a lucrative career over fences when landing a Grade A handicap from Tranquil Sea at Punchestown last April but he's had little racing subsequently. He ran well on his return to action at Wexford earlier this month when looking in need of the run and that should have brought him on enough to take this. Ted Veale's last five starts have been in Grade 1's so he's taking a huge drop in class and has to be considered. Loosen My Load was once very promising and a spell between the flags doesn't appear to have done any harm as he made the 144-rated Art Of Logistics pull out all the stops at Punchestown last time. Daffern Seal has had very little racing and may need the run before heading to Galway where he won in 2011. Nearly Nama'D has to be a threat after making all at Kilbeggan though that was over 2m4f and he'll be up against speedier opposition. Boxer Beat has won once in 58 career starts and that was over this track and trip a year ago. He's run 15 times subsequently yet is still 10lb higher. The veteran Mahrajaan has had a couple of runs on the Flat recently and isn't without a chance in a tight handicap.
