Baby Whizz won this a year ago and is the only course and distance winner in the line-up. He's been racing over hurdles and is just 1lb higher than last year so has to be considered. Robin Des People appeared to do better when dropped to the minimum trip at Tramore though he'll enjoy the conditions more than most. It's over a year since Better B Quick won a race but he ran well for a long way over three miles at Fairyhouse and the drop in trip will suit. Hard Bought, four times a winner over hurdles, was strongly supported back over fences at Thurles but jumped very poorly and was well beaten. It's a long time since LASH IT ON won a race and it's difficult to know whether he retains ability but a run at Tramore last month will have put him straight and with the ground in his favour he's given a tentative vote.
