In depth

Verdict

Vitally Important beat Strait Of Zanzibar easily at Naas but couldn't handle a 9lb rise in much better class at the Curragh. CRADLE MOUNTAIN makes a quick reappearance after failing to stay 1m4f at Roscommon last week. He made most over 1m2f at Fairyhouse a few days later and he's won over this trip so Aidan O'Brien's charge can go in again. Third Dimension is probably the form pick on his two latest runs in very strong handicaps but all of his best efforts have been on ground with plenty of give. Buyer Beware made a successful start over the track and trip in May and was by no means disgraced in a similar race to this at Gowran a couple of weeks later so he has to be on the shortlist.
