XSQUARED (NAP) has won twice over fences in-between his victory over 1m4f at Fairyhouse. He's obviously improving rapidly and though 9lb higher than his victory on the level he will be much better suited by this longer trip and Pat Smullen takes the ride again. Black Label had been running well before scoring over 1m5f at Navan and the winning hurdler is another who will be suited by stepping up in trip so a 5lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run. Manuka is a thorough stayer as emphasised by his victory in a three mile hurdle at Ballinrobe earlier this month while My Manekineko is generally thereabouts when stamina is required. The latter finished a long way behind Coolfighter over hurdles last time and Noel Dooley's charge is on a hat-trick after victories at Wexford and Gowran so has to be greatly respected.
