Verdict

DAVIDS JEWEL attracted strong support over this trip at Gowran last month but just failed to handle Thanks For Tea. She jumped really well and that should stand her in good stead here. Edmond Kent trained the winner that day and has two representatives here with Kris Kindle looking the best of them with Paul Townend booked. The Brock Inn produced such a good run at Limerick in May that she started a short-priced favourite at Tramore a few days later but didn't enjoy dropping back in trip and was well beaten. Thinklike A Shrink, a winning point-to-pointer, reverted to a bumper at Limerick last time and didn't run badly and will be much more at home with the expected stamina test here.
