For The Staff was a progressive hurdler but has shown little in six starts over fences and this will be the first time he's faced fast ground. Useful hurdler Our Gar has been a little disappointing in two starts over fences but has time to improve and had Traffic Article 12 lengths behind at Down Royal last month when they occupied the minor places behind Miss Mary Mac. Darenjan has a very good strike-rate on the Flat and over timber and a recent run on the level should have put him straight for his chasing bow but DERINLAUR looks the one to be on. Charlie Swan's charge is comfortably the form pick on his close second to the useful subsequent winner Bahrain Storm at Tipperary in May and has since run well in a fair race at Tipperary.
