PENNY'S BILL, who won the Pierce Hurdle last January, has always looked like a chaser in the making and could hardly have been more impressive over fences at Limerick in May where he jumped like an old hand for a very easy victory. This looks a little tougher but he has the potential to go on to better things. Although Persian City has won three of his last four starts over hurdles, his jumping has left something to be desired so he may be best watched as he makes his chasing bow. Chaussettes was only moderate over hurdles but has shown a little ability over the bigger obstacles but Defying Gravity faces much stronger opposition than when landing a hunter chase at Listowel. Winning point-to-pointer Next Week is one to note on his chasing debut and looks one for the future.
