    Verdict

DEDIGOUT won a Grade 3 at Naas in March and chased home Realt Mor in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse three weeks later. He fell in the Champion Novice Chase at Punchestown but this should prove well within his capabilities. Rathlin has been alternating between hurdles and fences and been in good form, especially over the smaller obstacles, though he has a penalty to carry for a Grade 2 victory over a year ago. Treacle was trained for a second crack at the Grand National but didn't get far while blinkers are tried on Noble Prince for the first time on his 40th start.
