In depth

Verdict

Allardyce is on a long losing run but has dropped in the weights accordingly and has run well from this mark the last twice. RICKY LANGFORD has won over hurdles here and scored with plenty in hand over fences at Ballinrobe three weeks ago. His rider can claim 3lb extra this time so Philip Rothwell's charge can go in again. The stable also run Lesssaidthebetter, still a maiden after a dozen starts over timber and making his chasing bow. Caridadi had been in poor form before attracting support at Tramore and winning comfortably for which he's been raised 8lb. He had Clody Valley six lengths behind but the latter very nearly lost his maiden tag at Downpatrick a couple of weeks later.
