CRIMSON CHIEF (NAP) scored over fences at Kilbeggan before a comfortable success over hurdles at Galway. Back over the bigger obstacles he can complete a hat-trick. My Friend The Wind didn't show much in two starts over fences but ran well over hurdles at Listowel and should be capable of better. Zalika also ran well over fences on that same Listowel card and should be losing her maiden tag from this sort of mark soon but Arverne, a winner over 2m3f at Kilbeggan, was well beaten from 8lb higher over this track and trip next time.
