BARRA, four times a winning bumper in France, looked a high-class prospect over hurdles when beating a huge field of maidens at Fairyhouse last January but didn't win again. However, he was mostly racing at a very high level and with a chasing pedigree he's expected to take high rank over fences. Clara Sorrento, a very consistent performer over timber, started favourite for his chasing bow at Wexford and led for a long way over that 3m1f. His jumping left plenty to be desired and that caught up with him but he'll have come on for the experience. Oathkeeper has been very disappointing so far over fences while Sharps Choice, who won over hurdles here in September, has shown nothing in two starts over the bigger obstacle.
