Very little to go on here but GOLDEN POET ran well enough when a close third behind Belle Helene at Sligo to suggest he's ready to gain his first victory. Bensachuine had shown nothing before a much better effort here earlier this month and further progress would see him go close while Celma Des Bois has improved with every run and wouldn't need much more after a promising effort at Ballinrobe where he attempted to make all. Birnam Wood was well supported on his debut between the flags but fell when in touch and is worth watching in the market with Jamie Codd booked.
