Verdict
Doyenna wouldn't want the ground to ease as her victory at Fairyhouse in October came on good going. She has an absence to overcome though not as long as The Big Chap, who hasn't been seen runner-up in August and he's 12lb higher then when scoring at Limerick last May. Steppenwolf is 11lb higher than for his only success at Clonmel the same month but he made a promising return to action at Downpatrick earlier this month. Good World's victory at Tipperary in October was over 3m while Laser Focus couldn't handle heavy going at Wexford that month after being beaten a neck in a Tramore maiden. TIPP FOR MAC (NAP) was made favourite for a Downpatrick handicap after a good effort at Clonmel and was ready to mount a challenge when unseating at the last - compensation awaits here. I Don't Get It would have to be respected if getting a run after scoring at Downpatrick.
