Verdict

The last six favourites have won this - four of them trained by Willie Mullins - who has the newcomer Ciandarragh entered here. She won't need to be a world-beater and the daughter of King's Theatre will make a bold bid to make a successful start. However, Noel Meade also has a good record in the event and SUNDOWNER, who has more of a speed-based pedigree and will be suited by the quick ground, is taken to foil the likely favourite. Sting Jet has shown some potential but should do better when sent jumping while Rightback Atya pulled up lame at Downpatrick last month but had run well at Sligo previously.
