Patanne started favourite on his last three runs, the latest just over a year ago, but didn't look anything special though the market should tell us more. Fill Your Hands showed improved form at Down Royal but will need to take another step forward but Gone Platinum should go well after a break as he was in good shape when last seen in November behind the useful Western Boy. CROFTON TRAIL looks as though good ground is essential as he ran a fine race behind Morning Run at Punchestown a couple of weeks ago. He should have similar conditions here and can gain his first victory.
